The War Museum is planning to use Ft. Harrison State Park for a “re-enactment” of a Vietnam battle. We are protesting the use of a State Park to promote and glorify war. Help stop militainment. War is real! It kills! It should not be portrayed as enjoyable or fun. Especially in a State Park!
Join other peace-makers for a picnic-protest at the main entrance to the park at 59th and Post Rd. in Lawrence (Indianapolis), Sat., July 17, 12 Noon - 2PM. Bring your picnic basket, blanket, or lawn chair and we’ll have a grand time as we share in poetry reading, music, and speeches from the Vietnam era. Open mic. For more information, contact Dave Lambert at : dl2001@comcast.net.
